Deepak Kumar, a 17-year-young student of Government Sr Secondary School in Bhiwani, topped Haryana Board Class 12 exams after scoring 497/500. The son of a labourer said his school didn’t have teachers for Physics, Chemistry & Math, adding he joined tuitions & studied for at least 10 hours every day. Deepak added he wants to be an engineer in the future.
Deepak Kumar, 17-YO, a student of Government Sr Secondary School in Bhiwani topped the Haryana Board Class 12 exams, the results of which were declared on Wednesday. Deepak studied as a student of science stream.
Talking to the media, Deepak said his school did not have teachers for Physics, Chemistry & Maths. “I joined tuitions for physics & chemistry and studied mathematics myself. I studied for at least 10 hrs everyday,” he said.
Deepak’s father is a labourer in Bhiwani & his mother is a homemaker. He has five sisters, four of whom are elder to him. “All my sisters are also educated. Despite a shortage of money, my father ensured all of us get an education. I studied in private school till Class X & then shifted to the government school,” he said.
Board of School Education (BSE) Haryana on Wednesday declared the results of Class 12th (intermediate) exam for all streams.74.48% students passed the Haryana board Class 12 exams.
