New Zealand has set a target of 242 for England in the final of 2019 World Cup at Lord’s Cricket Ground on Sunday. In the final of the 1996 World Cup, Sri Lanka was also given a target of 242 by Australia. Sri Lanka chased down the target in 46.2 overs to win the World Cup for the first time.
The 2019 World Cup final will be decided in Super Over after New Zealand dismissed England for 241 runs in their 50 overs. Needing 15 runs off the last over, England scored 14 runs & lost two wickets. New Zealand had put up 241/8 in their 50 overs. This is the first time that the 2019 World Cup final has been tied.
