Kapil Sharma spoke on Navjot Singh Sidhu’s exit from The Kapil Sharma Show during a recent event & extended his support to the government post the Pulwama terror attack.
Pulwama attack has brought about a massive reaction from everyone in India. The lives of more than 40 CRPF Jawans have been lost in an attack by a suicide bomber of Jaish-e-Mohammad. Post this attack, Navjot Singh Sidhu’s comments have landed the politician in trouble. Post his comment on the terror attack, the channel decided to act upon it & sacked him from The Kapil Sharma Show. From quite some time, Kapil Sharma kept mum about this issue. However, today Kapil spoke at
Kapil had to attend an event & there he was asked about his opinion on Navjot Singh Sidhu’s exit. Kapil expressed that Sidhu had some other work-related commitments, & due to that, he could not shoot for the show. Thus, they have been shooting with Archana Puran Singh. Kapil also mentioned that in his opinion, banning people, sending Navjot Singh Sidhu out from the show (The Kapil Sharma Show) is not the right solution. He also expressed that all the voices on this issue are propaganda & ousting someone from any show isn’t a solution for it.
Kapil also said that he is extending full support to government & wants a permanent solution against attacks like Pulwama. He said, “Hum insab cheezon mein sarkar ke saath hain lekin phir bhi ek sthai samaadhan ki zarurat hai. Pulwama mein jin logo ne kayrana tareeke se humaare jawaano ko shahid kiya unko dhundh dhundh kar marna chahiye jismein pura desh sarkar ke saath khada hai.”
While Archana Puran Singh has already shot for the show & the new promo is also out, the channel took this call after a social media trend started against The Kapil Sharma Show where the fans urged people to boycott the show because of Navjot Singh Sidhu. As of now, Kapil’s comeback in The Kapil Sharma Show has been received well & it is back on the top of the TRP ratings as well. Thus, to avoid any damage, the channel decided to remove Navjot Singh Sidhu post his insensitive comments on Pulwama terror attack.
